چکیده
Abstract Wheat crop contributes to a major portion of the agriculture economy Nepal. It is ranked as third cereal country even though, it faces terminal heat stress which speeds up grain filling rate and shortens period, causing reduction in weight, size, number quality losses. We can minimize this loss through genotypic selection high-yielding lines by understanding genotype-environment interaction. The objective research obtain high yielding line with stable performance across environments. In order do so, we conducted an experiment using eighteen elite wheat two check varieties alpha-lattice design replications different environments viz. irrigated environment from November 2019 April 2020. analysis variance revealed that genotype, their interaction had highly significant effect on yield. Furthermore, which-won–where model indicated specific adaptation NL 1179, 1420, BL 4407, 1368 Bhirkuti heat-stressed environment. Similarly, mean-versus-stability study 1368, 4919, 1350, 1420 above-average yield higher stability whereas Gautam, 1412, 1376, 1387, 1404, 1381 below-average lower stability. ranking biplot, PC1 explaining 73.6% PC2 26.4% effect, showed rank line, > 1368> 1350 other lines, close ideal line. On basis obtained results, recommend both suited environments, while 1179 adapted specifically for environment, respectively.

Graphical Analysis of Multi-Environment Trials for Barley Yield Using AMMI and GGE-Biplot Under Rain-Fed Conditions
The AMMI and SREG GGE are among the models that effectively capture the additive and multiplicative components of genotype × environment interaction (GEI) and provide meaningful interpretation of multi-environment trials’ data set in the breeding programs. The objective of this study was to assess the effect of GEI on grain yield of barely advanced lines and exploit the positive GEI effect us...
متن کاملThe impact of terminal heat stress on yield and heat tolerance of bread wheat
In arid and semi-arid regions of the world bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) yield is highlylimited due to late season heat stress, mostly occurring during the reproductive phase. Hence thecurrent study was conducted to evaluate the effect of late season heat stress on grain yield andyield components of 20 spring bread wheat cultivars. For this purpose, a stripe block experimentincluding four ...

Genotype × environment interaction by AMMI and GGE biplot analysis in three consecutive generations of wheat (Triticum aestivum) under normal and drought stress conditions
Thirty six wheat genotypes derived from diallel crosses from F1 to F3 and their parents were evaluated in six different environments for the stability of performance. Performance was measured by seed yield per plant under drought and non-drought stress conditions. The experiment was conducted as a randomised complete block design with three replications in over one year. Additive main effects a...
متن کاملEvaluation of soybean lines and environmental stratification using the AMMI, GGE biplot, and factor analysis methods.
In the final phases of new soybean cultivar development, lines are cultivated in several locations across multiple seasons with the intention of identifying and selecting superior genotypes for quantitative traits. In this context, this study aimed to study the genotype-by-environment interaction for the trait grain yield (kg/ha), and to evaluate the adaptability and stability of early-cycle so...
